Cautiously Optimistic - Cavs at Wolves GDT

Post by 60WinTim »

Wolves favored by 2.5 points. ANT is Questionable with his "right foot injury maintenance".

We are all waiting to see if the Wolves can maintain this defensive intensity they've shown this year. Was the Atlanta blowout loss a good thing?!?

This seems like Groundhog day, but tonight is another game against an East team that has underperformed this season but been hot recently...the Cavs have won 4 out of their last five. Earlier ESPN had Ant on the injury list for "rest", and the line dropped to 1 1/2. But now he is listed as a GTD with his foot, and the line is back to 2 1/2. We play the Cavs again on Saturday, and I think they will both be close games. I'll be satisfied with a split, but winning both would tell us a lot about this team.

The Cavs are a good team. We should look to split this little two-game series, but two more wins would definitely vault us from cautious optimism to buoyant optimism! Not sure what's after that....

Great start tonight! Which should be a real test for the Wolves, because these fast starts rarely seem to end well…

The Bones run was fun while it lasted…. :(

Mike is washed…. :(

Sure seems like a trade to boost the bench will be coming soon.

I’ve never understood the Bones Hyland love. He’s a 3rd string point guard at best,

Mike beyond washed. Simply unplayable.

That's what I always thought too Kiwi. Then he proved me wrong. Now he's cold as ice again. I think Mike and Bones are serviceable as part of a regular season bench, but I don't know if I want either of them in the playoff rotation.
