Amazing Opportunity - Wolves at Cavs GDT

Post by 60WinTim »

Early game today at noon. Randle is Available, dealing with left thumb soreness -- I wonder if that will affect his shooting? ANT is Questionable with his right foot injury maintenance. I noticed numerous times in the last game where ANT was favoring that right foot. It wouldn't surprise me if he sits out with another game on tap for tomorrow. And Conley is out for "Rest". Does that mean Dilly gets some minutes today? Johnny Juzang? Or is just an 8-man rotation?

Anyway, great night with all the teams in the standings next to us losing -- we're all tied at 13 losses, with just the Spurs and OKC ahead. The Spurs play tonight in Boston, so the Wolves will actually have a slight advantage in the back-to-back tomorrow night! A Spurs loss tonight and two Wolves wins give the Wolves sole possession of the #2 seed!

Weird betting line this morning. I predicted the Cavs would be a slight favorite, and the line early today was Cavs-2 1/2. Then about an hour ago it jumped to Cavs- 5 1/2, and I kind of assumed that meant they were going to rest Ant with Conley. But it just dropped back down to 2 1/2, so I think Ant is going to play.

Merrill can shoot the lights out and gets the start...Ant is going to have to guard him tough.

Edit: Donte is on him now

Two really good basketball teams here. Love seeing Jaden cutting to the basket, and Ant found him.

Jaden is kind of an X factor because he’ll generally have a significant advantage over whoever is guarding him.

Ant is looking terrific at both ends...loved his defense on Hunter on that shot clock violation.

He's locked in. Guarding Mobley some seems to be something he relishes! 2 blocks ...rebounding well...eye of the tiger

Hell of a run from our bench unit without ANT or Randle. Bones is having an impactful game everywhere!

When Bones plays like this, we no longer need a PG.

How many Rudy screens result in made threes? Ant and Donte are especially good at using him to get open looks.
