This isn’t my favorite move, but Dennis Schroeder might be someone TC has to settle for…

I would be good with Shroder. Can we rope Ellis or Achiuwa in as well?

I'm not opposed to moving DDV because by this time next season he'll have to be moved. Let's be real. He's not re-signing here and even if he did, it's gonna be for much more than what he's getting now.

Minnesota receives: Coby White, Jalen Smith, Ayo Dosunmu and 1st RP (2026 from Portland).

(Portland's 1st round pick to Chicago protected for selections 1-14 in 2026 through till 2028, then Portland will instead convey its 2028 2nd round pick).

Chicago receives: Julius Randle, Terrance Shannon Jr and 2nd RP (2026, lesser of the two we own).

I think I’d do that one if I were TC.

Realistically, the Portland pick will end up being a 2nd rounder. But that’s fine and why the Bulls MIGHT be interested in that deal.

I saw another report today about the Wolves having interest in Keon Ellis, along with several other teams. I've mentioned before that Sacramento was probably the most ideal landing spot for Dilly. But something as simple as Shannon for Ellis works as well. Now, Ellis has been pretty bad this season. But he does have some good years under his belt. You would be banking on him finding his groove if given a consistent role with the Wolves.

Of course, this could all be a smoke screen, trying to convince another team, like Chicago, that TC has other options than just one of their guards...

I'm not opposed to moving Donte but I'm wondering why Donte would not re-sign here.

The Sun Times are reporting the Rockets are also asking about Coby White. They have picks available to trade but who knows what Chicago actually wants.

That's what we all thought with Detroit's 1st we picked up from NYK in the KAT trade. That turned in Joan Behringer 9 month later! Portland aren't far off playoff contention so 2028 it could convey.
