I wish they could trade everything except Ant, Jaden, and Naz and have a shot at Darryn Peterson.

The Hornets are on an absolute roll -- why would the trade Sexton?!? And the handful of guys that might be available will have lots of suiters. One of the few things that fall in TC's favor is if some GM has a hankering for Dilly...

I think the Wolves are more likely to look towards the buyout market.
Plus they supposedly got Sexton to appease Ball since apparently they are good friends. Not that they wouldn't trade him for an obvious win trade. But probably not for just a ho-hum slight winning one.

Here's a blurb this morning from the Athletic regarding Ellis:

Kings sources say they had several suitors fall through in recent days and weeks, among them Indiana, Boston and Minnesota. The Pacers had concerns about Ellis' ability to find playing time over Bennedict Mathurin, who is headed for restricted free agency. Mathurin might be on the move before the trade deadline, but so long as he was on their roster, giving up a first-rounder for Ellis was deemed a dicey proposition. The Celtics also retreated with their interest.

Gotta think Dilly was the Wolves offer...

The Kings seem like the perfect team to try to unload Dillingham.

They do a lot of stupid things.

I guess I never thought about it, but all these games where he did not play, but was active on the bench, counted towards the limit of games he could be on the bench.

A couple of reasons this is interesting: #1 - the trade deadline is upcoming. I'm not sure if his contract in anyway can be utilized in a trade? I'm not sure what the possibilities are there? Convert and trade?

And #2 - Juzang is rather useless if he can no longer be active on the bench. It sure seems like he will be released as a 2-way player and TC can sign someone else to a 2-way contract.
I’m assuming he will be similar to Clark. If they get open roster spots from a trade or strike out in the buyout market he will be signed for the rest of the year.

Also you can trade 2-way guys

I love that TC seems to be working so hard before the deadline, but I'm relatively confident he's not going to do anything stupid. There's a reason his job is secure while the Twins and Vikings just jettisoned their GMs!

"Lastly, the Timberwolves showed a willingness to offer two second-round picks for Ellis but got cold feet, it seems, when their Giannis Antetokounmpo pursuit ramped up and became the (obvious) priority"

Former wolves great traded (love it for the blazers)

“The Atlanta Hawks are trading guard Vit Krejci to the Portland Trail Blazers for Duop Reath and two future second-round picks, sources tell ESPN. Krejci has averaged 9 points and 2.2 3-pointers made per game on 42.3% shooting, which ranks top 20 in the NBA.”
