Atlanta must be collecting picks for another trade. I believe Reath is done for the year.kekgeek wrote: ↑Sun Feb 01, 2026 11:07 am Former wolves great traded (love it for the blazers)
“The Atlanta Hawks are trading guard Vit Krejci to the Portland Trail Blazers for Duop Reath and two future second-round picks, sources tell ESPN. Krejci has averaged 9 points and 2.2 3-pointers made per game on 42.3% shooting, which ranks top 20 in the NBA.”

Re: Trade season
Jevon Carter got waived. Maybe he's the pickup we need.
Re: Trade season
The Bulls are waiving Jevon Carter to make room for Dario Saric. I’m a fan—good 3pt shooter, good ATO. The Wolves could do worse.

Re: Trade season
Bulls fans are lighting up Coby White in the game thread tonight on their reddit page. They're wondering why the team hasn't fleeced the Wolves yet, and want him off the team.
Kings fans on their reddit page were discussing a trade of Mike, Rob, and Lenny, along with two second round picks for Malik Monk, and most of their fans wanted to do that trade.

I doubt he's high on TC's list, but if everything else falls through...WildWolf2813 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 01, 2026 6:03 pm Jevon Carter got waived. Maybe he's the pickup we need.
I don't think TC is looking for another 6 foot PG. And I can't imagine anything happening until TC sees what happens at the deadline, and then sifts through the other buyout/waived guys.

Kings sources say they had several suitors fall through in recent days and weeks, among them Indiana, Boston and Minnesota. The Pacers had concerns about Ellis' ability to find playing time over Bennedict Mathurin, who is headed for restricted free agency. Mathurin might be on the move before the trade deadline, but so long as he was on their roster, giving up a first-rounder for Ellis was deemed a dicey proposition. The Celtics also retreated with their interest.
Gotta think Dilly was the Wolves offer...
They do a lot of stupid things.

Yeah, if the bulls fans don't like coby, I am pretty sure we won't. Hope we stay away
Re: Trade season
Coby is one of the featured guys on their team as a starting guard and their leading scorer. I certainly don't think he's good enough to be a #1 guy either!Crazysauce wrote: ↑Sun Feb 01, 2026 9:57 pm Yeah, if the bulls fans don't like coby, I am pretty sure we won't. Hope we stay away
We have to re-imagine him in a context where he is on a contending team as the first guard off the bench and playing with much better players.
Remember when the much-maligned Andrew Wiggins was traded to Golden State? Suddenly he starts making more 3's, giving more effort defensively, and goes on to be a critical part in them winning a title. He no longer had to be the featured guy.

Role and expectation has so much to do with player perception. You could even make a similar argument about Julius, with him being able to shift into a different role that is more suited to his skill levelQ-is-here wrote: ↑Sun Feb 01, 2026 10:07 pmCoby is one of the featured guys on their team as a starting guard and their leading scorer.
