Redo In Memphis - Wolves at Griz GDT

Post by 60WinTim »

I'm starting this one early since there is some relevant news out there...

ANT is an All Star reserve as expected. That bad 5-game losing streak sunk Randle's chances at an All Star selection. Maybe next year?

Both ANT and Randle have been added to the injury report -- ANT with back spasms (which was noticeable in the last game) and Randle with a sore thumb on his shooting hand. I suspect Memphis will have JJJ back.

Finch was not happy with the defensive effort in the last game, despite the big win. We'll see if the defensive effort looks better in the rematch.

Just 2 road games left before the trade deadline, and then 6 straight home games including the All Star break. It's a chance to stack a bunch of wins and perhaps move up in the standings. I wonder if we might have a Shannon sighting after the All Star break? I also wonder if we might see Rocco up following the All-Star break...

If they don't make a trade, then I suspect we'll see them give Shannon another try when he's back healthy. He gives them such a downhill weapon that no one other than Ant offers, but he's just been so out of sorts this season.

If he had worked out like a few of us thought he would, a trade wouldn't even be necessary since he was even showing some play making chops in the pre-season. He was averaging almost 7 assists per 36 minutes in the pre-season and was a key contributor with the ball in his hands in that first regular season Portland win. And then it all went downhill from there....

If Shannon were to get back to that level or close to what he had in Portland that would be huge. A bit obvious i know, but they need that kinda juice off the bench

I see no reason why Shannon can’t get back at least close to that level if he’s fully healthy.

Randle is in, Ant a game time decision. Ju is often very good when Ant is out. I would rest him to be more ready for a tougher game in Toronto.

Whew! I thought this was a "peacock" only broadcast tonight, but I see it is on Fan Duel, also.

Pretty decent call, Kek. But it could go the other way too. There were a lot of rumors two days ago too, and Ju, Naz and Jaden all at good games. I think we win this one.

Ant moves a line pretty well...I'm assuming he's in because the line just jumped 2 points to -7 1/2.

Kind of a weird challenge...I think we might win it, but not sure it's timely.
