Wolves Trade #1

Post by 60WinTim »

I haven't a clue what we did other than dump a bunch of salary, and remove Finch's ability to play Conley!

From Dane:

More to come on the trade front for the Wolves. But some financial notes...
- This move increases the Wolves space beneath the 2nd apron from $3.5M to $14M
- More importantly: They are now beneath the 1st apron by $3.5M, which removes some obstacles in trades, especially with apron teams

From Shams:

Just in: Chicago, Minnesota and Detroit have agreed to a multi-team deal that sends Jaden Ivey and Mike Conley Jr. to the Bulls and Kevin Huerter and Dario Saric to the Pistons, sources tell ESPN. Detroit also receives a 2026 first-round protected swap from Minnesota.

Maybe Conley retires and rejoins the Wolves as an assistant coach.

Ha yeah! Maybe they release Mike and we take him back. Or is it Rob Dillingham time? Gotta believe there's more to come here.
