If somehow Jaden AND Joan aren't included, then Milwaukee really effed this up on their end! To me, that's where the negotiatons start from their perspective. But yeah, would be great for us if neither were included.

Then again, may be this whole thing ends with us getting one of the Chicago or Memphis guards and the Giannis stuff is put on hold until the summer.
Remember not to long ago Jaden was a must in Gobert trade and we still got our man. Hopefully Tim can do it again.

To me it’s obvious that Jaden is in the deal and I’m fine with that. Send Rudy, Randle, Jaden and Dilly out and bring back Giannis and the best fillers possible. Would have to be 4 team deal likely. So we’re left with Naz, Giannis, TJ, Ant and DDV as starters with Joan, Clark and Hyland coming off the bench. It would be nice get portis back along with a rotation guard also

Cool, I know you love Jaden, as do I. But I haven't heard one reliable pundit suggest a deal that doesn't include him. I'll eat crow if I'm wrong (and celebrate while I'm doing it), but Jaden is the starting point for any Giannis deal. Our other pieces just aren't attractive enough.
My hope is that Ant has a say in this and he won't be okay with Jaden going out. Maybe I'm dreaming but one can hope.

Could be. Two things we have to keep in mind: There are a lot of teams that covet Giannis, and draft capital is usually a big component of deals like this...and we can't compete with other teams with respect to that. So I have to believe there is no way a Giannis deal happens without Jaden being one of the pieces.

I'd love to be able to tap the phones of TC and the Bucks GM...can't even imagine what's flying back and forth. But if I had to guess, the Bucks won't trade us Giannis unless we include young talent and also take Kuzma. So I think they are asking for something like Giannis and Kuzma for Ju, Naz, Jaden and Joan. TC knows he is going to have to give up Jaden to get a deal done, but he's not going to give up Jaden and Joan, so he's trying to sub in Miller and Clark for Joan. Don't know if the bucks would bite on that, but I'm guessing that or something similar will be needed to beat the competition.

And I know the Bucks are rumored to be saying they are going to do right by Giannis by trading him some where he wants to go. But come on...management knows that if they do a crappy deal and the fans are unhappy, they lose their jobs (hello Nico Harrison). So ultimately they are going to use Giannis's status as a top 3 player in the league (and maybe the best 2-way player) to extract a king's ransom from the highest bidder. We'll have to see how high TC is willing to go.
What if Memphis takes on kuzma with jackson relif and they can get out of Ja a year earlier. Probably can even flip Reid.

Memphis
Kuzma
Naz ried

Wolves
Giannis

Bucks
Morant
Randle
First round picks from memphis or us
Dilly
Beringer

Very true, and I have a lot of faith in TC also. But even though we kept Jaden, we had to give up a shitload of first round picks. I think it was and is kind of an either or...young talent or first round picks...and we don't have the draft capital we had back then.

I made mock trades just like this weeks ago when the Wolves were rumored for Ja. But i also had an inkling Giannis would be gone by deadline so i came up with trades just like this. 2 all stars. Young players. Marginal draft comp

Forgot about Beringer. I have no doubt he’s be included.
I agree, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. If I’m TC, I concede on Jaden, but then insist on keeping Joan. That’s just me.

I think this Conley trade also unlocked access to our 2032 1st as far as trading it as a pick swap now. Pretty sure it was locked while we were a 1st apron team. And we also have our 2028 as a 1st swap.

The way Jaden's stats and game are improving year after year, It's hard for me to include him in any deal. I love and want Giannis badly, I'm not sure it's worth including the seat belt.

The mood at tomorrow's game will be interesting if a deal isn't done by then.
