No. But he is extension eligible, I believe. Which means he can be re-signed before free agency begins.Jester1534 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 05, 2026 9:11 amIs he RFA?60WinTim wrote: ↑Thu Feb 05, 2026 9:10 amThis is a guy a lot of us really liked. I feel we really sold low on Rob. Also I want to say that I feel like our staff really messed up his shot and his confidence. I can't ever recall a time where a team reworked someone's jump shot and it worked out. If Shawn Marion could make an all star game with that jumper then we should have left Robs alone.

It will be fun watching the rest of the day, but the Wolves could very well be done. Mission accomplished addressing the bench by acquiring Ayo. And they have also positioned themselves to be a big player in the buyout market. Well done, TC!

Yes he can sign a 3-52 deal before free agency per Yossi Gozlan60WinTim wrote: ↑Thu Feb 05, 2026 9:13 amNo. But he is extension eligible, I believe. Which means he can be re-signed before free agency begins.

Uh, FNG and everyone else - trigger warning: Don't look at his Net Rating or Net On/Off info. That's going to be tough to rationalize.
Re: Wolves trade number 2. We got Ayo!!
This trade clearly makes us better by adding a scorer off the bench without giving up a rotation player. And it also likely means we won't be losing Jaden through an ill-advised trade for Giannis.
It is odd to trade a lottery pick plus the 33rd pick in the draft for a guy who was drafted 38th, but this is an admission by TC that those two draft picks were busts. But TC has redeemed himself by getting a scorer in exchange for two failed draft picks.

Just some context. Jayden Ivey was traded yesterday for Kevin Huerter and Dario Saric and he was a higher pick and a significantly more impactful player in the NBA.Crazysauce wrote: ↑Thu Feb 05, 2026 9:16 am I feel we really sold low on Rob. I just don’t think dilly really had any value at all besides his salary
Re: Wolves trade number 2. We got Ayo!!
Hahaha...of course, I already did! He has been a terrible on/off guy in his career, but is okay this year. Hitting some 3's and improving your defense does wonders for your on/off! I think he'll be a good addition to our bench.
