Hahaha...of course, I already did! He has been a terrible on/off guy in his career, but is okay this year. Hitting some 3's and improving your defense does wonders for your on/off! I think he'll be a good addition to our bench.
I don't know. He's literally in the negative on both stats every. single. season. Zach LaVine 2.0 perhaps?

I haven't watched him play much of course. You could see with your own eyes the porous defense Zach would play along with some dumb decisions on offense. What's the deal with Ayo? Has he just been unlucky with lineup combinations for FIVE straight years!?

While I haven't followed the Bulls at all, he seemed to be a fan favorite on their message boards. They were ready to move on from White, they really wanted to keep Ayo. When White was out a game last week and Ayo got the start he put up 29-8-9 with 2 steals, shooting 11-16. He's gong to get wide open shots playing here in Minnesota. He seems like the perfect replacement to NAW, I just hope we are able to extend him.

My problem is they messed with Robs jumper and now he can't shoot. They should have never done that.

The leap he has made in 3-point shooting this season is almost exactly what Jaden has done: both made 33% last year and 45% this year! And both have a very good TS% close to 63%. He's not a PG, but his assist to turnover ratio is pretty good. I like this pickup better than the other guard options we have discussed. I hope his improved shooting is not a mirage.

I haven't seen him much either, but his on/off is almost flat this season after a terrible 2024-5. And you gotta love a guy withe shooting stats almost identical to Jaden's...this should really help our bench scoring.

There are hundreds of players who improve their shooting with development. You gotta play those odds.

Maybe it's on the player a bit, too?

But more importantly... Dillingham's problems went far beyond poor shooting. He had shockingly poor command of the court with the ball in his hands, which is sorta important when you're a jitterbug type PG.

Ayo year by year Net Rating (how his team does per 100 possessions while he's ON the floor) and Net On/Off Rating (how his team does while ON the floor MINUS how his team does while OFF the floor).

Year: Net Rating/Net On-Off Rating:
25-26: -3.8/-1.8
24-25: -7.7/-9.1
23-24: -3.3/-3.9
22-23: -1.3/-6.0
21-22: -5.0/-8.7

9000 minutes played in the NBA. Someone explain why his team always loses when he's on the floor and always does better when he's off the floor. Make me believe!

(Yes, it did improve this season, which gives me some hope)

He was teamed up with Coby White.

They messed with Ant jumper also and now he can shoot. Win some you lose some. Dilly might just be bad. He didn’t shoot good in either summer league or both nba seasons
