I forget if it was Aussie or someone else that has been lobbying for him, but I've never understood why guys think he's so available. He's a very solid starting NBA PG on a playoff-bound team. The market for that these days is about $30-35M, which is what he's paid.
He always looks good to me, but yeah.

[Scotto] The Toronto Raptors have offered RJ Barrett and Ochai Agbaji to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Domantas Sabonis. The Raptors require finding a third team to take on draft compensation in addition to Jakob Poeltl or Immanuel Quickley.
Oh RJ Barrett...

Edwards stole the ball from him for that dunk. And then he throws a bad pass that gets stolen by Gobert for a breakaway.

And then he's shown yelling at a teammate... LOL.
Abe, I was hoping for one of your legendary DVR Review recaps which featured a blow-by-blow look at Ant's heroics on both ends down the stretch. Just amazing after a sloppy, selfish first half.

Great finish to the game from Edwards on a night when he seemed off throughout the game.

As noticed by many of you... the game was won/saved by the 5 guys willing to play defense early in the 4th quarter. Without them, it was going to be a 20-point loss.

It's great that Edwards joined the fray and carried the team down the stretch. That's why he's a superstar and the most dynamic player in Timberwolves history. But I think it also illustrates where he is as a leader right now.

He's a guy who can carry a team at times, critical times, but he's not the type to set the tone for a team because he plays so lazy or sloppy for such vast stretches. I was not for a Giannis trade... but I can see how pairing Edwards with a guy like him was at least intriguing. I think Edwards could have learned some stuff... and would have been pushed by one of the few guys in the league with enough clout for Edwards to notice.

Ha. I fell asleep twice during the DVR Review. Once midway through the 1st half... and again after watching it and before I could get to the laptop.

Pretty incredible though. Quintessential Anthony Edwards experience, right?

Yeah, that guy certainly isn't Randle as he suffers the same problem!

At least Ant seems to respond to other guys that buckle down and set the tone. He's willing to be brought along, even if those players are inferior to him.

I think that should tell Connelly something this offseason. If not Giannis, keep finding high-motor guys that don't let up.
