What I saw from TJ this year in the few games I have seen was a guy that simply didn't play like the guy we saw last year. Idk if he is trying to je more well rounded or injured. Maybe it's some of both. Still he has hit 3's and it's now the 2nd season in a row so far in limited chances he has hit a worthwhile percentage on 3's. I don't know if after all the injuries and time off he is gonna be able to put it all together this season but if truly healthy now there is some legit runway for him to at least get back to the energy guy they had last year. The thing is now they may have less need for him than last year with the addition of Ayo and the emergence of Bones. Still he gives them a bigger wing that can likely do something. Before the trade deadline I had conversations with myself on which guy I would be more comfortable dealing Dillingham who hasn't shown a whole lot or an older player like TJ that has shown something. Ultimately it comes down to salary and TSJ costs significantly less so that kinda what made it easier to say move Dillingham. Injuries are the concern for me with TJ at this point.
