I couldn't watch this one, so I'm only admiring the box score. But Jon K posts that only one other time in NBA history a player had 5 blocks, 5 treys and 3 steals in a game...unbelievable.

Jaden has an odd habit of taking shots at the end of the game after the other team has waved the white towel...last night he did it with 2 seconds left and the Wolves up 5 points. Most NBA players just dribble the clock out in that situation. A conspiracy theorist might wonder if he had a wager on the Wolves minus 6 1/2! Anyway, the Blazers spoiled his bet by hitting a trey at the buzzer!

Seemed to be an in your face moment as he also did his patented bounce alley-oop to himself dunk the possession or two prior to that. That game got very chippy. Not sure if the refs weren’t the ones with money on something. Glad one got into the fighting mood cause Portland seemed like they were sticking it to us.

Ha, you're right! I'm not a Peacock guy, so I was watching on ESPN gamecast...apparently my math isn't as strong as it used to be (low bar). Regardless, the typical play in that situation is to dribble out the clock rather than piling on...you don't want to poke the bear and provide bulletin board material. Fortunately we're done with the Blazers this year.

Maybe the Timberwolves should fly Jaden's family to all his games if that's the performance he puts on when they're watching courtside. N

I'm sure the Seattle Supersonics will do everything in their power to get him home when they're reinstated in a couple of years. It will cost them the #1 overall pick though!
