I'm looking forward to seeing Ayo in the OKC matchup.

Another pathetic game by Julius. Zero effort on defense and the ‘my turn’ attitude on offense is really holding this team back.

What the hell is wrong with him?

I didn't watch this one, so my comments are based on box score only. I'm not sure how good any of us feels though after beating perhaps the worst available roster in the Association by only 10 points. We're going to need a much better effort Sunday against the Thunder.

-I just commented last game how Ayo's lack of "do shit" stats might be the reason his +/- is often so bad. And then he goes out and puts up a 12/8/7! He's an intriguing player, and we need more games like this.

-Another poor game from Julius. 1 assist and 4 turnovers...smh. We keep waiting for him to return to the all star guy we watched in the first half of the season, but I'm beginning to think that was a mirage. I hope I'm wrong, but this slump has lasted a long time.

-Spectacular box score from Ant with a 42/8/5 with only 2 turnovers. But I'm going to repost the stat Kyle Theige mentioned in Dane's pod...we are really good when Ant scores less than 30 (26-13) but only .500 when he scores 30 or more. 42 points is terrific, but we led a very bad and wounded Warriors team by only 7 with 8 minutes left in the game. We're going to need him to get his teammates more involved if we're going to beat the Thunder Sunday.

- I think Donte is my favorite TWolf this season. He gives 100% every game, and even on a night when he scored only 7 and missed 5 out of 6 beyond the arc, he still ended up with the best +/- on the team...something that happens often. Who knew that giving all you have every minute you're on the court helps your team win?

Okay, OkC next. I have it as a loss in my wins forecast (I have everyone losing to the Thunder on their court), but we've beaten them twice in a row and were just a point down with a minute left on their court. A win would be huge.

Edit: I hadn't heard that Ant was on the injury list pregame and was grabbing his knee in the 4th quarter. We're going to need him in OkC, so hopefully it's not too serious.

I was just able to catch the replay up through the 3rd, probably won't watch the 4th, but I'll just say that this was a very very good game from Ant all around. He moved the ball really well and got other involved, which the 5 assist speaks to, but he also a few hockey assist and generated ball movement on multiple possessions.

He clearly heard whatever the message was after the losing streak, the effort was all the way there on defense and he had a very good command of the offense. Question is- will he maintain the focus?

I missed the previous 5 games snowbirding it, but got to see this one. Ant had some great passes out of the post, which is a good development. Early in the year a post up was always going to equal a shot, and he had several nice kicks out for buckets or hockey assists. Ayo had some absolute dimes to the bigs. At least three of them to Rudy for wide open dunks, one a no look pass, and at least one pass to Naz for a fast break layup. Jaden had one of his retaliation get mad at something and get two quick fouls in the 2nd quarter, and when he got his 4th foul in the 3rd quarter that hurt our defense to end the quarter. We were up about 20 at that time, and than we went to exchanging baskets fr awhile, to missing everything and not stopping them once Ant and Rudy came out of the game at the end of the 3rd.

Thanks to Aussie and Rap for your reports on the game which I didn't see. I just listened to the Locked on Wolves pod, and they echoed what you guys said...they said it was clear from the start that Ant was focused on getting his teammates involved and making the right pass. Really good to hear. Now we have to hope his knee is okay for tomorrow's game and that he plays like he did last night.

The Wolves vs Warriors outcome goes to show that a really good coach with a really good system is worth 10 to 15 points.
