Uh yeah aussie. Apparently Jaden Ivey was just released for expressing his religious views.

It's downright scary. And Steve Kerr can use his voice to spew political hate and it goes unchecked.

Haven't heard of this, but also.... Players have been thanking God and talking about religion forever in every sport all the time, so forgive me if I don't immediately assume your presentation of events is factual

He definitely did express his faith. The real reason they cut him though is because he brought the LGBTQ community aspect of it up.

To each their own, but as far as his views and God and the Bible goes - he wasn't lying.

It's just a big no-no to say anything nowadays. Too much sensitivity for my liking.

It was a bit of a leap to jump straight to "religious" beliefs. Apparently, Ivey went on an anti-NBA Pride month rant, including anti-LGBTQZXRWE+ comments. He is a UFA that is out for the remainder of the season. All those factors went into the Bulls decision to release Ivey. They have way too many guards going into next year anyway...

Yeah I've caught up now and clearly, CLEARLY he was not released for just "expressing his religious views"

I mean, in his way he actually was very clearly stating his religious views, lol.

I'm of the opinion that if you want to be free to express yourself then you have to allow those who do not share your belief express themselves without backlash. Otherwise, what are we doing??

Ivey's been on a tear overall lately though on various subjects. Hope he finds someone to talk to.

He seems to be in a really unhealthy place, certainly concerning
