Playing Small? - Wolves at Rockets GDT

Post by 60WinTim »

No Rudy (flagrant foul avoidance?!?), no Reid (shoulder maintenance) and no Randle (hand maintenance). Also, no Bones and Ingles.

Joan, Rocco and Freeman ought to see some minutes, right?

Beringer gets his 2nd start. It went pretty well in his 1st start!

Donte, ANT, Jaden, SloMo and Joan. Ayo back to the bench.

Joan vs. Sengun...Oy vey.

Looks like Finch is trying to balance injury prevention with staying basketball-ready, thus Ant and Jaden are playing. When does DDV get a break!?

Joan with a nice start so far. Stayed down on the pump fake and then blocked the shot. He has the quick-twitch fibers to react vs. over-committing by leaving his feet before a shot goes up. Good to see.

They are not helping Beringer on Sengun at all, forcing him to guard him one on one. Great trial by fire for Joan.

Durant hitting one tough mid-range jumper after another with Jaden all over him. Tip your cap to one of the greatest pure shooters of all time.

Yeah, great minutes from Joan. He has a future somewhere in the frontcourt for ANT 2.0.
