25 TOs.
... against the team that caused the fewest TOs in the league. Good gawd, what would OKC have done vs. this fumbling mess of a crew tonight.
To be fair, the Wolves are just trying to figure things out without its starting backcourt, but that's still not a professional effort protecting the ball vs. a soft defensive team like Denver.
Win it for our guys, Wolves @ Nuggets GAME FIVE GDT

Fell asleep again. What an ugly game though by the Wolves, it kind of made me fall asleep. No one really was great, just a bunch of meh and blah.

I would have been shocked if they won - in Denver and after losing two of their top players to injury. But I see some positives. First, what happened last night should be fixable. Stop the stupid turnovers and we should have been competitive.
Second, Ayo sure seems to be a player on the rise and ready for an expanded role (similar to NAW a year ago). He should be able to fill DDV's shoes fine going forward.
Third, TSJ gave us some nice minutes. If he can backfill what Ayo was supposed to be off the bench - again, we should be ok.
Finally, some of our stars have yet to shine. Specifically - I'm looking for a big game out someone like Reid or Gobert. I know Reid has something injury wise going on and probably isn't 100%. But I feel like those are the two guys who could really turn the tide if they get going. Kyle Anderson looks like an unplayable corpse to me. I wouldn't mind seeing someone else (anyone) get the handful of minutes Finch has been allocating his way.

I watched the replay this morning with a lot of fast forward, so there won't be much insight here. I wasn't surprised we lost, but I was a little surprised at how much heart Denver showed...they looked done to nights ago. But surprisingly they were the better defensive team tonight. Yes we turned the ball over far too much, but give Denver some credit for showing more than a pulse and causing a lot of those turnovers. The Wolves moved the ball well...they usually do when Ant is out...and it resulted in a lot of open looks and 51% shooting. But the turnovers killed us.
Denver played like a hungry team tonight not ready for the season to be over, and we played more like a complacent team that thought the season was over...not the win one for our injured guys vibe I thought we might have. Denver is now favored by 6 1/2 in the early line, so Vegas has conceded this series to Denver. I don't think the Wolves have though, so I expect to see a much different effort Thursday. Not necessarily a win, but more defense and fewer turnovers.

After watching the game this morning was gonna come here and post "25 turnovers" and that's it. Denver should get some credit for some of those turnovers but some were not really forced by Denver really.AbeVigodaLive wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2026 12:23 am 25 TOs.

Despite playing kinda terrible for a chink of this game they ended up coming back and making things a little interesting in the 4th quarter. Some of that was Clark playing minutes. They might need to play him because part of how they are going to win is defense and playing their butt off. Clark does those things.
TSJ I thought was a mixed bag. He did some good in this game but he definitely didn't cement a spot going forward although I'm sure he will get the opportunity. Kyle Anderson was a bit of a mixed bag too but like Abe said these guys are kinda finding their way. Conley seems to have found a gear beyond just being a vet out there. I don't know how much of that is left but it's nice to see.
Jokic can shut the hell up about being all made about Jaden doing that layup. He tried to pull a fast one on a teenage rookie handing him the ball and taking it back. I mean it's actually kinda funny but all things considered it seems kinda of ridiculous.
I still think this team can finish out the series but this game definitely gave me some doubts.

Hats off to Denver they came out and did what they had to do to keep the series alive. Self inflicted wounds though on our part, 25 turnovers yes, but how many passes were low passes where we had to reach down to get it, or how many passes did we just bobble so we couldn't get a clean shot off. The team just didn't look sharp tonight at all.

I'm guessing significantly less spacing on offense didn't help much either.
The Wolves lose 46% of their three point makes without Edwards and Divincenzo.
And Ant is really the only guy who can shoot them off the dribble on the entire roster. You can't just plug-and-play with that stuff. Heck, not even in volume. For example, Ayo shoots about 1/2 as many as the two injured gunners.
