I can't think of any other sport where an analyst has such obvious disdain for a specific player and makes no secret about it.

Just enjoy the win man
Two things can exist. Maybe just enjoy the FINCH!!!!

Rudy Gobert just had the 3rd most assists without a turnover by a center in a playoff game ever.

It was a really great game from lots of players. I am so happy you were there to experience that high!

Abe's "I'm a little disappointed they didn't call me up to play with all these injuries" DVR Review:

- Too into the 1st half (after a fun Wild clincher) to post anything. But the #1 thing was that the officials are letting the Wolves play the physical defense they prefer to play.

- 8:38 left in the 3rd. Just a simple possession we really only see at the NBA level. Everyone on the court knows Conley is really only a spot-up shooter. The Wolves move the ball around a bit, all while Conley calmly slides into the slot, for an open three. Nice professional set.

8:18 left in 3rd: Shannon flashes in the dunker spot!... ... ... and waits...
Whew. Randle saw him just in time.

- 4:00 left in 3rd: McDaniels wanted to go at Murray. He hesitated just enough so he kicked it out. Love that he went right back at Murray for the bucket. He's dialed in.

- Wolves on a run. Clark for a three out top... WOW... I cringed and turned away before the ball even hit the baseline. I assume it was an airball because I seriously turned away.

- 8:00 left in 4th. Conley to Rudy on the short roll to Naz in the corner... Is that hope I feel? (Doris was right to call Jones out after that play. He should have let Rudy try to take two dribbles and score over Jokic.)

- Whoa. McDaniels running the pick n roll with Gobert. And that leads to a wraparound pass (left hand) from Gobert to Shannon in the corner to beat the shot clock. That's hope. That's confidence. The Wolves are winning this game.

- Fair is fair. Coach Finch deserves his pretty bouquet.

- Fun night for Minnesota sports fans. The Wild overcome their 1st rd foibles and beats its greatest rival at home. There's a legit sense that it's a team that COULD win a championship. That's been a rare feeling around these parts for decades. Then, across town, the Wolves are playing their biggest rival without its starting backcourt and top reserve. They're playing vs the best player in the league and one of the best ever. Against the odds, they win through grit and effort and energy.

The Wild might fall short next round. The Timberwolves certainly will. But that's ok. Tonight is about enjoying a pretty damn good and even historic sports day for Minnesota fans.

Certainly? When was the last time Wemby made it to the conference finals again? I thought that was a thing you had to build up to? That experience and growth led to…just saying the Spurs are the healthier and therefore more talented team at the moment but they don’t have the experience of winning multiple series in a row yet. Let’s just see what these wolves can cook up for them on Monday before we get certain.
