Peacock for game 1
Is that the only way to watch? I really don't want to sign up for another streaming service

Xfinity shows it on NBCSN, which is channel 1211 in the Twin Cities.

Un freaking believable.
Re: Peacock for game 1
I have been able to get all Peacock games on YouTube TV via NBC
Re: Peacock for game 1
We use Hulu + Live TV and it's showing the game as being on ESPN. We're in Vegas, so maybe it's different here.
Re: Peacock for game 1
You sure that's not Wednesday's game?
I will be listening to Alan Horton tonight, and will watch the game tomorrow morning on League Pass (if it's worth watching).
Adam Silver sucks Donkey Dicks.
Re: Peacock for game 1
Damn, you're right that is for Wednesday's game. Sorry for the false hope!

When will other leagues learn that the NFL was built on being the most accessible one, local channels, local team, easy to watch and plan for.
That's difficult to do for the regular season cause of how many games in the NBA and other leagues but... Jesus can we just not have to subscribe to 19 different things just to watch our team in the playoffs!?

It makes sense as to why the viewership dropped over the last 4-5 years. Not only that, you're going to struggle to build NEW fans as well. Thats why the NFL does dominate the ratings. Make it as easy to watch as possible, build new fans, sell merch, protect high ticket prices, etc...AussieWolf3 wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2026 5:15 pmWhen will other leagues learn that the NFL was built on being the most accessible one, local channels, local team, easy to watch and plan for.

I really think that gutting the current fan base to shell out for near term money will ultimately doom many of these sports leagues long term. You're just going to struggle to build new fans as older ones die off and the pie just keep shrinking.

The NBA had a multi-decade high in viewership this past season and it was way up over last year. Their latest media deals have been a stunning success.Wolvesfan21 wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2026 6:10 pmIt makes sense as to why the viewership dropped over the last 4-5 years. The fan experience of having to sign up for all these different streaming platforms is pretty insane, but overall it's worked for the NBA.
