Their blurb on him is “defensive maven whose offensive game is a work in progress”….his offense is progressing amazingly and In fact was his top asset as a prospect. It’s totally more likely to see his jump next season then it is to see him fetch us a player in that tier in their prime with a contract that works and that wants to be here and that is universally loved by the entire state!?!?
This is gonna sound like homer hot take, but I'm not totally convinced that there are 25 players that I would rather have on my team right now over Jaden.

I don't even mean in terms of potential, I mean what players are capable of doing right now as winning basketball players. Jaden doesn't look like a top 25 player right now because he sacrifices that for the role he plays, but (with the right to change my opinion with real evaluation) he's on the cusp of top 25 in my opinion

I’ve been on the Jaden is untouchable band wagon through at least three big rumors of him being involved in trade talks. He’s the key.

The players half ass it all regular season when they should be pushing to get better and compete for a championship. But they don't listen to Finch during the season and think they can just turn it on when they want and be champs. It's a flawed team, flawed thinking, and how much Finch is to blame, I'm not sure.

But what I do know is I'd take option B. Risk getting worse at the shot of getting better. Because as is, not good enough.
I think maybe we ought to see how things play out before declaring that it's not good enough
For me it's their mentality that makes me think they got very slim chance. Championship teams are very rarely half ass regular season teams. I thought maybe if we finish the year strong after the All Star break, but no. Sure we are turning it up now, but I fear it will be too big a hill to climb. Should have done more work during the season to get better.

It would take a damn near miracle for us to win it all imo.
