I'm going to guess Abe is into the Big Bang Theory.
Ha. I was just discussing this last night...
Not a fan of the Big Bang Theory (or many of those CBS paint-by-numbers shows)... but the Gal Pal hates that show with a deep deep passion for some reason. A commercial or something came on for it, so I asked her what other shows she hates that much...
The Gary Shandling Show. (When I told her I don't think she was even alive for all of that show, she responded with "Yeah, but his face. That's enough to hate a show you've never watched.")
3rd Rock from the Sun. (Coincidentally, French Stewart's face/eyes was the top reason here.)
2.5 Men. (The theme song didn't help.)
Are we going down these bunny trails because we're all feeling a little anxious about tonight? Maybe, but it's kind of fun.
I wonder if the Gal Pal hated the first Shandling Show, or the Larry Sanders show? Personally I thought they were both comedy gold. But she's correct about him being a weird looking guy...he always looked odd standing next to his red hot girlfriend.
Aha. Yes. Of course. She'd know Larry Sanders much more.
But I think the show could have been "Gary Shandling Saves Kittens from Trees and Cute Orphans from Monsters" and she'd still hate it because of Gary Shandling's face.

I'm more of a "Rules of Engagement Guy". But yes, I will also make room for King of Queens and Seinfeld reruns. I'm going to guess Abe is into the Big Bang Theory.
Haha - those are some of my favorite shows too. If you liked them, I'm guessing you also enjoyed Curb your Enthusiasm.
I'm not sure I've ever seen Curb your Enthusiasm but I'm going to defintely check it out. i think I'm on my 7th trip through Rules of Engagement. Before that it was Married With Children.
Tonight I'm at a friend and coworker's grad party for her Master's degree. She accomplished that while dealing with some family stuff, a divorce from a dirtbag while working full time. The last year or so she was working a full-time job a part time job (at the bar where the party is) and doing an internship. When I first worked with her a few years ago she was kind of a timid person somewhat scared of our little 5' boss. Now she is kind of a bad ass. I'm proud of her and glad we were able to be friends. It's a great developmental story! We also have some live music here so that's a good time.
As for some of my favorite shows, Parks and Rec is up there as well as The Good Place. When I was younger one the favorite shows in my household was MASH. There is so much good content out there to watch both new and stuff that's years old.
It's fun to hear what people like. It's also a way to discover something I wouldn't have watched otherwise. There is a couple that is on my work team that has convinced some of us to watch somewhat off the wall shows like "What we do in the Shadows" and "Hazbin Hotel". I'm a bit of a sucker for shows on the afterlife for some reason.
