Should have run it back with Kat
Would not have mattered. Still a great trade.
We sure? Julius Randle has tanked two seasons of wolves basketball, so now the hopes are all pinned on Beringer working out while KAT likely heads to an NBA finals.
I understand his contact was ridiculous and they had to get off it but Randle killed this team
I want to say I’m a Kat defender but there is a lot of revisionist history with him. He shot 23% in the first 3 games of the WCF, causing us to lose all 3 games.

Not trading Kat means no Randle, Donte or Beringer (and any assets they get in future trades). Also means Naz is also gone because they could not resign him and not be in the second apron.

There were rumors that the Knicks were shopping Kat at the deadline and he is a hard trade because of the apron era. Now Kat has been great against 2 bad teams in the playoffs.

I hope he wins the title but Kat also no showed big games like Randle has and they would be in significant more cap hell

I've always said he's toxic, and it's spread across the team unfortunately.

If he's a Wolf next season I'm gonna take a break from this team I think. I can't stand people with his mentality.

Sure wish I was wrong about the Wolves losing in the 2nd round this year.

And sports are done for me until football starts back up.

The problem wasn't trading for Randle, because it was the salary match that mattered. The problem was resigning him. Worst case he would have opted in to his team option this season and at least we could have cut ties with him this off season. Now we are potentially stuck with him for another two seasons.

Trading for Randle was pure dumbass. Trading two future firsts for Dilly was pure dumbass. Connelly has milked his lucky Joker pick into millions and he's showing what a dumbass turd he is.
