The only discourse I've been reading is that the Wolves are being too physical with Wemby...
... I thought I read something about Anthony Edwards leading his team through two knee injuries... but alas... it was just a fragmented sentence in a 2,000 word piece about Wemby and physicality and stuff.
To be fair, I may have editorialized a bit with the discourse, but the sentiment that I have gotten still features the Wolves as side characters in the story arc of Wembanyama. I have seen and heard from multiple places that, "the spurs have outplayed the Wolves" and I'm just not convinced that's completely true, even tho the reality of the completely butt whooping during game 2 exists.
Yes. That's what I was getting at. I agree about the Wolves being side characters.
Edwards gets plenty of flowers sent his way... so it's telling his Game 4 performance has probably been 3rd on the discourse list the past couple of days.
I might be listening to different outlets than Aussie and Abe...I'm in my car a lot doing volunteer work, and I mostly listen to NBA Radio. But while there was a lot of Wemby talk after game 3 (and why not...he was remarkable), I think the main two topics I'm hearing after game 4 are how physically tough the Wolves are (and not in a negative way) and how brilliant Ant was. There are some goofy things I hear too, like Perkins saying the Wolves were going to sweep after game 1!), but mostly I'm hearing a lot of excitement about this series. It's unusual to hear pundits fired up about a game in which one of the teams is favored by almost double digits, but they certainly seem to be...I sense the NBA world is catching up to how well the Wolves step up in the postseason.

Ok Cool, I'll say with my chest haha
Wolves in 7
Ant comes back game 4 with the Wolves down 2-1 and they even it up in front of the home crowd, and then steal game 5 to go up 3-2.
San Antonio is full of dogs tho and they take the heart of Minneapolis in game 6 causing the Wolves to miss the closeout opportunity at home.
No matter tho, cause the Wolves will return the favor in the higher leverage game. Ant goes for 44 in game 7 on 6 of 11 from 3, its neck and neck into the clutch but the more experienced team pulls ahead and win with some comfortability.
The essence of my series prediction is still alive if you switch games 5 and 6 lol

You could be right!
I think though right now we see the flawed Wolves squad win game 6 but then get blown out in game 7. Game 6 is classic Wolves. Playing the "back against the wall" card one more time to get a win. Especially after not really showing up at all in game 5 with the required energy and effort.

Unfortunately that's also how I see this playing out. After game 4 I really believed that playoff Ant had arrived and that he was completely locked in. After watching possessions over and over with him playing right into traps or trying to initiate the offense from the timeline, and just generally appearing way to chill about the game.... I'm pretty dismayed and don't believe he's willing to grab this one by the horns.
I guess technically if take this one to 7 then it gives truth to my claim that the series would be competitive, but.... Getting blown out in 3 loses suggest otherwise
You had to win the close in games in this series with all of our injuries. We lost game 3 which was a close game. If Donte is healthy and plays in this series I think you take game 3. You take game 3 and you never know what could have happened even with the blow out losses. Hell Donte might have stopped some of those big runs the Spurs had throughout the series with some hustle plays, fast breaks and make some timely threes out of Ant getting doubled. San Antonio was better than us, and now we have a new team that we have to build our team towards beating in future years.
