Re: Wolves offseason outlook.
Rudy needs to go along with Randle and we need to reinvent ourselves to have any chance. I hope we all realize now that Ant isn't the transcendent player we all hoped he was. He will be fine for many years but he's not this generations MJ or Kobe. With the way the Thunder are situated with the draft, I can't see us ever getting Giannis. We are going to need to draft, trade for, or develop another top player to go along with Ant and Jaden. And we should know that Ant is NOT a lead guard, we need a point guard who can make sure everybody gets fed. Ant has to accept a new role or we aren't going anywhere.

Giannis favorite player in the league, Ant. Dame's favorite player in the league, Ant. Jokers favorite player in the league that he enjoys to watch, Ant. Embiid's favorite player in the leauge, Ant. Lebrons agent Rich Paul called Ant the best player in the league in March. Carmello Anthony called Ant the best player in the league in March as well. Mike Conley has said Ant could one day be the best player to ever play this game, my hero for rushing back risking his body for us. But okay, you must be right.Coolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2026 6:36 pm Rudy needs to go along with Randle and we need to reinvent ourselves to have any chance. He was sorta forced into lead guard this year at the last minute when we found how washed Mike was and I think exit interviews all point to not wanting to try that again….

I'm sure I'm right, it's a habit of mine. Are you referring to Ant not being this generations MJ or Kobe? If you haven't figured that out yet I don't know what to tell you. The Spurs have multiple younger players who are going to be better than Ant if they aren't already.rapsuperstar31 wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2026 6:53 pmGiannis favorite player in the league, Ant. I don’t often or ever defend Cool but Castle and Wemby look pretty darn good….mane Harper some day even looks that good but it’s too early to tell there. If Any had. Wemby next to him I bet he would look just as good or better than Castle though…Wemby is just insanely transcendent at the moment. Refs aren’t helping the matter there either. If Ant got Wembys whistle…might be niceAussieWolf3 wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2026 9:03 pmBe seriousCoolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2026 7:38 pmI'm sure I'm right, it's a habit of mine. Yeah obviously I'll grant you Wemby, but it is straight up ridiculous to suggest that Harper or Castle are better than Ant right now. I could see Harper getting there but I'm not sure Castle has that high of a ceiling (and I really like Castle), but there is so much conjecture to this that it's meaningless at this point in time to even assertBeenLurkin wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2026 9:17 pmI don’t often or ever defend Cool but Castle and Wemby look pretty darn good….mane Harper some day even looks that good but it’s too early to tell there. Wemby, Castle, and Harper. Did I miss anybody? One is already better than Ant and the other two aren't far behind. Plus they have years to improve.AussieWolf3 wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2026 9:03 pmBe seriousCoolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2026 7:38 pmI'm sure I'm right, it's a habit of mine.
