Some thoughts on Beringer after the first half and watching him in warmups.

He is a LOOONG way from being able to do anything with his jump shot. His FTs maybe he will be able to make them but it's a very manufactured shot. He looks much better if he is shooting with one hand but that one turn around one handed shot he took near the 2nd quarter on the left side of the floor that got easily blocked was from not having any extension on that shot. If he is on the move things look better.

He has pretty good hands and can do something with the ball when he gets it. It feels like he could play a little differently than Rudy playing a little more small because he can do something more than just be at the rim on offense.

Like the fact Beringer got his points in a variety of ways that first half. There was only one dunk. There was a jump hook, a push shot, and free throws. Man, only 19 years old with a TON of runway. Whatever he is this season is still only scratching the surface.

Right, not exactly a floor spacer yet. But he can make shots now that Rudy can't after 10+ years in the league.

LaMelo is gonna be really good for Joan. Heck, even Rudy might get more opportunities, and maybe he'll make a few!

Yeah, it's going to be like how Harden made Capela into a dunk machine back in their heyday with the Rockets.

I agree, Kek. And he looked nice hitting that three a couple minutes ago. It strikes me that Rocco doesn’t know how to fully utilize his great size. That’s something he can learn. And he definitely needs to get physically stronger.

I will say he does need to start showing that this year though because he can’t be on a 2-way after this year. I would not offer him a normal roster spot at this point
