Further Wolves Trades

No doubt the Wolves will continue waiting on final word from LeBron. That definitely means the Wolves won’t sign any free agents before fina word from LeBron. But the question is whether Tim Connelly make any deals while waiting. If he does, it will have to be done by modifying the ever-expanding and still pending deal that landed LaMelo and Green in place of the departing Randle and Naz. Hence the question whether TC has one more modification to that deal up his sleeve.

I’m predicting the Ball/Green/Naz/Randle grand deal will be tied to the Miles Bridges deal and expanded to include another team with (1) Green getting rerouted to the additional team with space and an interest in Green’s talent on an expiring deal; (2) Kaufman-Renn going to Charlotte; and (3) Royce O’Neal coming to Minnesota.

I think the reason the deal hasn’t been finalized yet is because of this expansion of the deal that I’m predicting.

Sounds like Brooklyn is holding up the deal because their order of operations are important for the cap. Sounds like Brooklyn might make a play on Payton Watson, if that is the case the trade will not be done this week.


At this point I’ll be a little surprised if Evans plays in summer league. There is no risk of the trade falling apart
