I've been pleasantly surprised with Evans ball handling attacking the basket. I'm not sure he can do anything when he gets there but it looks like he can get there. He is pretty lengthy.

Rocco isn't a center he is a PF. They are playing him out of position.
That’s a charitable take, Monster. I don’t disagree with you at all. But I don’t see Rocco as an NBA player at any position. Maybe he’ll iron things out and develop over time into something. In the meantime, watching him is painful.

Donovan Williams showing up on offense.
I looked up his stats from the G-league. What's holding him back is 3 point shooting.
He hit one at the end of first quarter that was just barely late on the clock, and nearly hit the end of quarter 3/4 court heave…maybe he’s working on it
I'm sure he has been working on his end of the clock heaves. One agent behind me said in the next CBA they might look at having specialist contracts for roster spots. You can use those guys in specific situations. Maybe he is prepping for that.

He had that one nifty finish going to the basket. So he can score on dribble penetration. I just didn’t know he had that dribble drive game in him. That drive with the windmill move was a high-level instinctive move. He’s very quick and agile.

Honestly I can't believe you are hopping off the bandwagon. I really think people have too high expectations for him right now.

One of the criticisms of him was his finishing and that's partly due to his physical makeup. That showed up a little when I watched him in college. If he can finish at the rim then we may really have something. There was another drive he had early on that did not go well. Looked weak and awkward. What we can agree on is he has shown something besides shooting which is the thing he is supposed to be able to do. He hasn't been a zero on defense either. It's great that he has been able to play.
