Damn! It's a late one -- 10pm Central on ESPN2.
I had hoped Rocco (or Freeman) might show they deserve consideration for the 14th or 15th roster spot(s), but they have failed. So we are just waiting for LeBron to make up his mind so we can proceed with the next option for the 14th spot.

Re: SL Game 3 GDT
If Pullin keeps this up, he may deserve one of those two spots. Although we have a lot of guards, they all do different things and he is really the only other game-manager-that-can-score type PG archetype we have outside of Ball. Ayo and Bones can play PG too, but aren't your typical "floor general" types60WinTim wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2026 10:15 am Damn! It's a late one -- 10pm Central on ESPN2.

I'm gonna be looking at Santos today and see if he should be the 3rd 2 way contract over freeman. It seems Santos is kind of an overlap of Evans as a shooter (in theory) but can you really ever have too many shooters?Q-is-here wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2026 10:27 amIf Pullin keeps this up, he may deserve one of those two spots. I've been on the road for the first 2 games so will be settling in tonight. It's baby bear playing?
Re: SL Game 3 GDT
I think Beringer is out again today with back muscle tightness
Re: SL Game 3 GDT
If you are bored and want to read someone's lengthy breakdown of Nate Santos from a year ago before the draft here you go. I read some of it but I can't verify the analysis.

I will say they just posted a few pics of their practice, and could not pick out Beringer...
Re: SL Game 3 GDT
Santos is a forward and can't put the ball on the deck in the same way Evans can. I also think Evans has the potential to get shots up in higher volume (not that Santos is a slouch in getting them up, but Evans seems to be a tier above him).Monster wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2026 12:49 pmI'm gonna be looking at Santos today and see if he should be the 3rd 2 way contract over freeman. I like Santos, but I'm not sure he does anything all that well except shoot 3's and even there he was just OK at it in a much larger sample of G-League games last year. But you never know I guess.
Re: SL Game 3 GDT
Yep I agree with all that and I know you watched him quite a in Iowa. He has played really well and not just shooting the ball Coach Nate was asked what he can do to be an NBA player and he just emailed and was like he has been great and said he just needed to keep doing what he is doing and specifically mentioned his defense as well. I know his shooting numbers weren't that impressive in the G-league. They were quite a bit better than his first summer league though!
