A couple other things I heard earlier today. LaMelo Ball is a very friendly guy, as we’ve already heard, a very hard worker and is a quick study learning from coaches. But he’s also apparently very immature and that was part of the frustration with him in Charlotte. It’s mainly immature things off the court but to some extent it’s the bad basketball plays on the court. I was assured that we don’t have to worry about him carrying guns around, getting arrested, using drugs or anything remotely serious like Ja Morant. It’s not big things with LaMelo Just little stuff that Finch and the other players will need to help rein in. Finch could sure use a guy like LeBron around to help.

Charlotte needed to move him to build on their winning culture...Lipoli390 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2026 4:09 pmA couple other things I heard earlier today. Speaking of LeBron, no inside information about what he’s going to do. But as reported, the Wolves feel good about their chances.
I'll say this thought he Wolves really are kinda low in seasoned vets. I am cool with Edwards taking over that and McDaniels isn't a kid anymore but it's basically Gobert and Trey Lyles as the old been around guys.
One of the guys that were sitting behind me in the last game were talking about Christian Anderson jr. One of them said he was amazing player. He said he remembers as a fan his dad playing and he was an awesome scorer. He said he could really score but didn't care about defense etc but man he could really score! Lol

Hmm. Not a peep! I think all our reporters had to choose between covering a late night game or returning to Minnesota for the LaMelo intro presser. Looks like LaMelo won...
[Edit: I spoke too soon. Starting lineup was just posted -- same as last game. Lip was correct, Beringer out with back tightness again. ]

Shut Beringer down. He'll get his reps in season.
More room for Rocco and TKR to do better.

Re: SL Game 3 GDT
Rocco for three! I just heard he will have a role backing up Gobert this season.
Re: SL Game 3 GDT
So far Rocco has all our points with two three-pointers. Evans continues his 3-point streak with yet another miss.
Re: SL Game 3 GDT
Rocco is dominating. He now has 8 of our 10 points. Freeman has the other two.
Re: SL Game 3 GDT
Santos hasn't done well in this game. He is failing under the pressure of me watching him.
Meanwhile a Donovan Williams keeps making plays.

Re: SL Game 3 GDT
An offensive rebound by Rocco who then scores on a 3-foot shot. The Rocco era is back!
