The list of forwards that can be had for Green/DDV

Post by WildWolf2813 »

According to Spotrac

Green: $14,679,012
DDV: $12,535,000

Total: $27,214,012.

Wolves cannot take a penny more in return. I'm not including guys we could get by singularly trading Green or DDV and I'm excluding Charlotte because we got Green instead of Grant Williams

The list:
CHI: Patrick Williams $18 mil
DAL: PJ Washington $19.8 mil
DAL: Daniel Gafford $17.2 mil
HOU: Jabari Smith $23.6 mil
IND: Obi Toppin $15 mil
MIA: Nikola Jovic $16.2 mil
MIL: Kyle Kuzma $20.4 mil (expiring)
MIL: Myles Turner $26.5 mil
NO: Trey Murphy $27 mil
NO: Herb Jones $14.8 mil
PHX: Dillon Brooks $20.9 mil (expiring)
SAC: DeAndre Hunter $24.9 mil
SAC: Keegan Murray $24.1 mil
SA: Keldon Johnson $18 mil (expiring)
POR: Toumani Camara $18.1 mil

It'll be an interesting to see if they do anything like this between late August and the start of the season since they can't aggregate Green until then. Sounds like currently they have nothing expected in the short term as far as trades go.

Would love Jabari, doubt Houston would give him up

Yeah I don't see it either but it's interesting to think about as a young guy to add to the roster. Would you give TSJ up to get him?

Yes I would. We badly need a starting power forward.

Sure, but I just listed everyone within that dollar figure.

The odds of landing any of these guys vary greatly.

I could be wrong but I think we cant aggregate salaries now, no 2 for 1's. Thought I heard that somewhere.

Toumani Camara was picked one spot ahead of Jaylen Clark in that draft and a somewhat interesting player Jalen Slawson was picked one spot after Clark.

Yeah not until at least late August. Around the 26th or something.

He's expensive, but that likely deprecates his value which may allow him to be gettable: Keegan Murray.

It would be a coup to trade green, DDV and Shannon for him. The risk is the long contract and maybe he doesn't get back on track. He'd make the roster very very good, one of the best in the league, but also pretty inflexible--- even more so than it is now.
