These are always interesting reads.

This summer I've watched more of Finch interviews than I have for a while. I know there are criticisms of Finch and some are absolutely valid considerations but I think the guy is overall pretty cool. He seems confident but pretty humble. Funny but yet pretty serious and locked in. He just seems like guy that's fun to watch chat with people and easy to cheer for and he seems pretty genuine.

I sure hope i can hold off suggesting to Finch until at least the All-Star break this year. The defense is far more important at this point. If Finch's free motion offense (read no set offensive plays) can score with all of the players that have been Wolves since he was hired, it should be fine with this collection as well.

We shouldn’t need a lot of set plays with LeMello Ball conducting the orchestra surrounded by athletic, fleet-footed musicians like Ant, Jaden and Kuminga. I agree completely that the key is defense. I see this team returning to the aggressive, harassing and largely effective defense we saw the season before Rudy’s arrival now, only better because the guys we have now are even more athletic AND because we now have Rudy behind them to defend the rim and clean up mistakes.
