Home loss to the Liberty tonight. In a vaccuum it isn't such a big deal, but I'm sensing the Cheryl Reeve Lynx end of season collapse we've seen before.

It's the first game after a reasonable layoff. I think the break is likely going to be good for the team as some players got a break physically etc. Watching the highlights and looking at the box score the Lynx struggled to put the ball in the basket and Liberty shot almost 50% on 3's. There was a couple bad defensive breakdowns though. Let's see what they look like the next game. The bench still is pretty blagh.

Three consecutive losses by an average of 11 points per game...not a good way to be finishing the season. The bloom is off the rose a little with Miles...33% shooting in those three games (20% on 3's) and more turnovers than assists. Rookie wall? I was hoping the break might help her, but last night was not good.

You’re highlighting something I’ve been worried about, kek. We all love LIV and Phee, but this has to be Phee’s team, doesn’t it? She seems to be deferring too much to the rookie IMO. My optimistic take? Phee is letting the rook have the reins during the regular season, but come playoff time, she needs to be the alpha again.

They need her to score because unless McDonald does something it's not coming from the bench. The bench has some good solid players that do other things but when Nia is the biggest "scorer" on your bench and by a lot...that's not exactly inspiring.

At the moment it’s very likely the Lynx will play the Liberty in round 1.

That's the positive about this game is the reserves showed something. It looked pretty ugly before that.

I didn't realize Kosu had been hurt.

It's. It looking good for a long playoff run. There seems to be issues on both sides of the ball. We will see if they can put it together when the games matter more. Maybe Reeve has some additional wrinkle she will be throwing in once there is a specific matchup.

Valkyrie lose last night so the Lynx are the 1 seed. They will play the Liberty assuming Liberty don’t win tonight and the wings lose to the worst team in the W
