Dolphins are a bottom 5 team in the NFL (if not worst) and the Vikes are favored by 10 or 10.5, depending on the site. They've been bad on defense as well, so this is a potential big boost confidence builder for Kyler and the offense. However we are missing JJ, but still. The Phins want the 1st pick in the draft and they are a bad team. Vikes win easily as the offense gets going for at least 1 week. Plus the defense will crush and harass Willis for 3+ turnovers.

Phins- 13

Yup. We need to see signs that Kyler and KOC are getting on the same page. Because they've been reading from completely different books thus far!

It's early, but this Kyler-KOC thing sucks!

Took a baby baby step with that 4th quarter, yet it was against Miami who has been terrible. Sooo, complete some passes against some better teams. I guess we are down to just complete some passes now. Not even score a TD. Sad....

Such an odd start to the season. We're 4-0, but have one of the worst offenses in the league...only the dreadful 0-4 Titans have fewer yards per game than us (and only by 1.5 ypg!), and we even rank behind the equally hapless 0-4 Dolphins. And yet we can't ignore the fact that we are 0-4...this has to be unprecedented! I couldn't watch the game yesterday, but I did listen to fanline on KFAN as I drove home from the weekend, and you would have thought we were 0-4! I guess we have to admit there has been a considerable amount of luck in our 4 wins...I understand we would have lost if a long TD run by the Dolphins (aided by a missed tackle by the usually reliable Smith) hadn't been called back because of a penalty. So the offense is troubled, but from what I've seen, there may be something really special about this defense. Sure, all 4-0s are not created equal, but still...we're 4-0!

The offense has been terrible, however my only counter point and maybe saving grace is that YPG isn't a great stat to me. We've done two things well which lower that, get the ball in excellent field position and run the ball limiting possessions.FNG wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2026 8:05 am Such an odd start to the season. But saying that the offense has been puke and needs to get better.

The offense may not be dynamic but they only have two turnovers through four games. That counts as "good" offense considering how devastating losing the turnover battle can be.
When your defense is really good, isn't it a sound strategy to play it safer on offense, try to eat some clock, and just manage the game?

Thats true too. I do think in order to win the SB we will need an offense that shows up though, at least be mediocre. You can't be a bottom 5 offense and win it all.Q-is-here wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2026 9:28 am The offense may not be dynamic but they only have two turnovers through four games. Some good points here by Q and WF. I didn't see the game, but the more I dug into the stats, it looks like it was good effort on offense. First, while the score was 16-10, the score would have been 23-10 if Hockenson had chosen to score late in the game rather than making the prudent decision to lie down at the 2. If we could stay healthy on defense and score 23 points a game, we would have a very successful season. Second, we were very efficient on third down...8 for 18 on third down (plus 1 for 1 on 4th) is a better than league average result. Finally, Murray's stat line looks good, and KOC said in his press conference today that he thought only one of his ten incompletions (the one to Addison) was a poor throw.
Let's keep in mind also that we were missing our best offensive player...we need to get JJ back.
(No, not that one...)

Was Hock's decision prudent?!? I have him on my fantasy team... Fortunately, he racked up enough points earlier in the game that I didn't need those last points to win my matchup!FNG wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2026 1:50 pm Some good points here by Q and WF.
