Beringer with a VERY impressive first half so far on both ends. He and Bones the best players for the Wolves so far.

Yup. Bones has been solid this preseason, and no one else is stepping up to take his minutes away.

Shannon pops every now and then, but he hardly seems like a guy a winning team can feature in their 2nd unit. He’s fine as a complimentary player on the 2nd unit.

Beringer, Bones, and Shannon leading the way for the Wolves with a 4-point first half lead over Miami.

IDK...despite some of his failed out-of-control forays into the paint, he still ended up with 12 points on 9 shots. Plus one of his misses at the rim led to an easy putback dunk by Joan. Finch may be willing to take the bad with the good when it comes to Shannon because of the pressure he can put on the rim. I thought he played solid defense in that first half too.

I do think the fact he's playing and not sitting like Ayo is suggests that he's not locked into that 7th man slot quite yet....

Freeman and Zikarsky, two of our two-way guys, losing minutes to Exhibit 10 guys who look no better. Not good!

Freeman is out with a shoulder injury. But regardless, I am not sure he makes it to the end of his 2-way contract.

Rocco is in now. But we are a year away from knowing if he is a year away (as Abe would say. Or was it WW?).
