KAT Reunion - Wolves at Knicks GDT

Hopefully, WW can give us an in-person account tonight's matchup at Madison Square Garden!

A big reason (only reason?) KAT was traded to the Knicks was that bad-ass contract. He's being paid 58 mil this year with a player option for 61 mil next year, plus he is eligible for a whopping big extension now! KAT has publicly said he is not happy. While he is willing to give the Knicks a discount, he says the Knicks are not even in same ball park. Now the Knicks have come out and said they will not negotiate any extensions now, while they prepare for the start of the season, and there are other Knicks eligible for extensions now, too.

While I'm sure we will have our own extension drama to deal with next offseason, I sure am glad we don't have to deal with KAT's extension!

Anyway, I have no idea what the rotation plan is for tonight. It would be nice to see regular season starters playing for both teams.

Very interesting. They are giving Cody EVERY chance to succeed. He's gone from coming off the bench with the Exhibit 10 guys in pre-season game 1 to starter! I thought he looked really good in the first pre-season game and pretty mediocre in the other two. Perhaps playing a narrow role with the starters will really bring out his strengths.

I actually think it was not a good call...I would have been pissed if they had called it on one of our guys!

How about Williams starting out on Brunson? He looks good on defense, but has hardly touched the ball on offense.

Ball is such a joy to watch...double him at your own risk! He is going to be so good for Ant.
