If he was cut by the Browns and his agent called and said Johnny Football wanted to play for Zimmer. Would you sign him?

So maybe? :-)
I think back to what Zimmer said about always looking for a QB and would bring him to camp and let him compete. I think if he picked to play for us he would be serious about wanting to be a player. Otherwise I think he will go the Cowboys.

Re: Would you sign Manziel?
What would be the point of bringing JF here? The answer is no. I questioned his actual football ability at the time of the draft as well as his other issues and all his issues like the article said are basically played out about as bad as you can imagine. He will find a place on some team but this isn't it.
I'd rather have Shaun Hill and Taylor Heinicke. Hell there is a chance Taylor ends up a better QB than JF.* don't laugh too hard just remember That Tyrod Taylor was a lot more worthwhile this year than a number of other guys taken way before him in that same draft.
*Fun with stats...
Taylor is listed as an inch taller than JF ran a slightly faster 40 time and has a higher vertical. Yep cherry picking some physical stuff but mostly to point out JF isn't that special physically. I hope the dude figures his life out but it's not looking good for him.

I don't like the guy but around draft time there was a lot of people that wanted him. This would be the chance. RG3 will also be interesting. Will he be Vince Young 2.0?

Re: Would you sign Manziel?
No way, he just does not understand what it takes to be a leader. JF is about himself and not willing to put the time in to improve himself. As a QB you have to be out in front of the team and show that you can lead. I don't have a problem with his going out and parting where ever, but when he is expected to be on-site (week 17 concussion protocol on Sunday) it shows to me that he checked out.
I don't see JF leading a team to the playoffs as he is currently constructed. Total lack of leadership.

All true points. I was mostly curious about peoples thoughts about a reclamation product.

NO!
Prediction: RGIII and Manziel both sign LIGHT deals with DAL, and they are the 2nd and 3rd QB's, with the worst of the two being deactivated each Sunday. Based on their production, and what goes in and/or comes out of their mouths, there is ZERO market for either.
