Rosen brought up an interesting trade target on Barreiro today. With the Bears clearing some vets to start rebuilding, he brought up Jeffrey as a potential trade target for the right price since his deal is up soon. I'd give them Patterson and a second or third round pick for Jeffrey. Thoughts? I know division trades pretty much never happen, but he is the type of receiver we need across from Wallace. Then I'd try to make a Graham type trade and flip AP this off season for an elite lineman and let Teddy run the offense out of the shotgun with McKinnon as our Sproles.

That's interesting you bring that up. A couple local sports guy were talking NFL and one of them is a Bears fan and he was saying He would consider trading him because he has heard Jeffery wants Dez Bryant money. I don't know if that is true or not but if so that is true that's a lot of money.

Speaking of Bears trades they just offloaded JAllen to the Panthers, and to do it they had to agree to pay all but $860K of his salary!! I thought the contract the Bears gave him was absurd at the time given his limited impact the previous couple years. Yes he was still getting his 10+ sacks the last couple years with the Vikes, but they were no longer before the game was out of reach.
