Strictly because I have liked them for a long time as pretty much a second favorite team, which shows how much of a masochist I must be I went with the Pirates! Not because I think they have the best shot, just because they HAVE a shot out of my two faves. Hey crazier things have happened in the ALC so I never count out my Twins until the math rules em out lol.

I voted cardinals, just so much pitching depth and with Allen Craig having a break out season and of course one best playoff hitters of all time Carlos Beltran, they have a great shot.

I'm with you on the Pirates, jd, but I really think they have a good chance. I live in LA, but I cheer against all LA teams, and it's hard to ignore the way the Dodgers are playing recently.
