If they add Smith then the first round should be best player available, which hopefully will be a Safety or big fast WR.
Marcus Sherels is back - http://www.1500espn.com/vikings-2/2016/03/marcus-sherels-to-stay-with-the-vikings-on-a-two-year-deal/
Glad this worked out. Always nice to have a high class small town kids from MN on the team that does a solid job and doesn't make mental errors. A little story that was shared with me was a little league coach asked him about coming and talking to his team about being an athlete and being part of a team. He said sure I can do that and they exchanged numbers. Weeks later Sherel's calls him up and asks him when and where. The coach had completely forgot about it, but Sherel's didn't. We can use that type of character on our team.

Good to see he is back. That's a good story he seems like a good kid. I know his value is on ST but I think he is a guy that they feel like they can put in as a nickel or dime guy and he can at least keep things in front of him. The other thing people forget about Sherels because every year some new shiny draft pick comes in with great athletic chops but he is a very good athlete. He is a sub 4.4 40 guy with a 40" vertical and obviously pretty quick.
Trattou is back. He seems like one of those guys that I'm a little surprised are still available every time the Vikings cut him and then able to bring him back.
Ah just kidding I won't miss him and was a little surprised he stuck around last year but they kept having depth guys get hurt so they kept him around once he was able to come back healthy. His career has been uneven but he has a lot of experience and he turned just 25 in January. He is worth taking a flyer on and TB was pretty low on CBs I guess.
