Blatant anti-board dis at the Oscars last night

Post by longstrangetrip [enjin:6600564] »

They pay tribute to dead people we've never heard about, but they leave out Abe Vigoda????? It's an outrage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S Stacey Dash was weird, Lady Gaga made me weep, and Spotlight was indeed the best movie of the year.

I am still torn between Spotlight and Big Short. I thought the acting in Big Short was better. Christian Bale and Steve Carroll did an amazing job.

Big Short was my second choice, bleed...and for more reasons than the scene with Margot Robbie explaining derivatives in the bathtub. I agree the acting was excellent (Bale is crazy, isn't he?). But I re-watched Spotlight on the plane back from Florida last week and decided it was clearly the best movie of the year. I acknowledge that The Revenant was terrific movie-making and that it deserved best director, but it was far down my draft board for best movie.

Both good films. I thought Revenant was a good film and tough to pull off, but from the entertainment POV it was way to long and got out of the theater think I wish I would have gone to "13 hours" instead.

Once I realized not one sponge had been nominated I decided to boycott the Oscars. Seriously, how would Sponge Out Of Water receive not even one nomination?

not entirely 100% serious, more like 99.99991322349%

Another terrible injustice. Just another reason why I don't really watch the Oscars.
