The defense is just bad today. That scoring drive to end the half was maddening. Stopped them multiple times just to have a dumb penalty keep the drive alive multiple times. Most NFL teams are gonna score when you give them extra chances in the red zone and you shoot yourself in the foot. Get your shit together and play with the discipline a veteran group should have.

This prevent defense/run out the clock bullshit with Zimmer just needs to stop. Soft zone coverage and they drive right through us with 3 minutes left. Same with the 3rd and 18 and playing on the first down marker rather than just straight up so they get 17 and have a convertible 4th down. I just don't get it. Play your normal defense.

Looks like Cousins saved the Vikings' butts today. Rare to see the Vikes win a shootout like this, much less on the road. Two impressive performances from Cousins in a row.

Games like these are why the God awful games hurt so much more. When he's using all his weapons he's a good QB. Hopefully this play keeps up the rest of the year.

Doubt it. The question will be who effs it up more of us in the inevitable playoff loss, Bailey or Cousins? That's a tough one.

Cousins had time to throw, credit the OLine. I keep saying it, if the OLine plays well the Vikes will win, when they don't like at Chicago, they will lose. Cousins did play well the last 3 weeks though, even if the haters will say any QB can do it.

Don't forget about the defense.

One of the locals ESPN guys last week Talked about about Cousins when talking about fantasy football. He said he looked bad those first few weeks but Cousins has a legit resume as a starting QB in this league. He expected him to have a solid season and Diggs and Thielen to both be worthwhile WRs in fantasy the rest of the year.
The oline did fine. Cousins also seems to be playing better too. They are likely benefiting from playing some teams that are banged up. Sometimes we do forget Stefanski isn't an experienced play caller. There might have been somewhat of a learning curve. They are certainly getting Cousins out on the move which helps the oline and Cousins. If Irv Smith becomes a big factor in this offense because he is good...oh boy assuming Thielen gets back healthy and there are no more significant injuries. Last week it sure looked like Cousins was playing with a chip on his shoulder. In this game he was flat out dropping dimes.
