That is funny. I would love to see him back as our backup next year. :-)

Waynes signed with Bengals for 3 years and 42M.

Waynes gets paid. At some point the Vikings could be a great landing spot for any FA DBs that are left.

So we have Adam Thielen and nobody else at receiver and now completely unproven Mike Hughes, positive test Hilton Hill and nobody else at corner. This is looking like a train wreck. Spielman's gonna have to hit every pick in this draft for us to even have a chance in this passing league.

It will be the year Zimmer proves he is a pretty good coach or a damn good coach.

As far as receivers go they'll be even more run focused while Rudy and especially Irv will have a greater role in the offense. For it to work they're going to been a healthy Thielen for 16 games, but screw Diggs, I hope he hates his new QB is much as we hate Cousins! LOL

Bears got their guy in Foles. Seems like a decent deal for both teams. For Chicago they basically get to try out Foles and push Mitch for the price of a late 4th and about 15 million in cap space. If for some reason Foles actually work out they could keep him for 2 more at just over 20 million which...ain't bad.

Meanwhile The Jags ended up spending about 30 million and got back a late 4th round pick to find out Foles wasn't their guy. It wasn't a good signing but teams need QBs and sometimes you gotta take a shot. I've seen much worse outcomes. If it had worked out they would have looked smart for getting a pretty good QB for ONLY 20 million a year when other guys were getting 30.

Joseph to Chargers for 2yr/17M. If we get a 2nd or 3rd round pick for Anthony Harris we are going to be in an interesting spot. I think we have a down year because I think this will be a tough year for rookies with the state of the world, but we could rebound nicely in 2021. I wonder when the last day is we can cut Reiff.

I hope Foles works out better for the Bears at least 14 times a year.

He is coming back. We knew that Sean Mannion wouldn't sign until after Tom Brady decided where he wanted to play. After being begged by the Patriots to come there for 10 years and $300M he decided to take the Vikings one year offer so he could test the market again next year and hoping for an 8 year and $320M deal.
