He has length like he is a LB. interesting he went and played in the XFL. I see that as a benefit to him but it did hurt the season was cut short.

He had 7 INT's in 2 years in college. It seems like he could be a good midrange pick.

This draft is gonna be all over the place. Teams are gonna pick players in all kinds of spots and some guys people (Fans) are really gonna not know who they are.

Alex Taylor, OT, South Carolina State
Height: 6-8. Weight: 308. Arm: 36.13. Hand: 11.
40 Time: 5.09.
Projected Round (2020): 5-7.

Strengths
-Athletic build with tapered waist and very long limbs
-Twitchy out of stance and into blocks
-Plays with proper hand placement and technical savvy at point of attack
-Easy climber up to linebackers
-Above-average body control and contact balance for tall player
-Long arms and agile feet to sustain in space or wash down zone blocks
-Unlocks hips and gains depth in pass sets
-Adequate posture and bend through the pass set
-Foot quickness to run edge burners past their exit
-Reacts and redirects against early inside moves

Weaknesses
-Former hooper making some scouts question his love of football
-Height will work against his center of gravity
-Naturally tall pad level limits drive-blocking potency
-Upper body needs more development and strength
-Allows opponents into his frame without resetting hands to reclaim it
-Motor times out rather than finishing his run blocks
-Tardy with timing of his pass punch
-Pass slides lose proper spacing and width
-Good inside-counters will create issues due to heavy outside sets

Thoughts on Alex Taylor? He seems like a great LT development prospect. Arm length is crazy. Basketball background helps hi in pass rushing.

That scouting report has too many positives to have him as a 5th round and below guy. Im not knocking anything...just sayin. Anyway he sounds good to me. :)
