I forgot about Boyd. I hope Hughes, Hill, and Boyd can be our future at CB. The think about Hughes is he is coming back from a major injury and is basically still in his rookie year. I think he is a future stud. Alexander has been a semi disappointment, but he is another FA like Waynes that we need to make a decision about.

Hughes is just getting boxed out over and over again and I don't know how much he can do about that. If he doesn't cover perfectly he won't even have a chance to make a play on the ball and disrupt the catch.

Hughes looks good to me. Revis was only 5-10 I think. Size isn't 100 percent necessary at CB. He looks to me like he can be a good starter eventually. I would be fine with him penciled in as starter next year. Rhodes is done (others are FA) so we may again have to draft another CB to bring along for depth.

I think he as he gets his legs back and learns the position he can overcome that by being in a better position and just being a step ahead of when the ball arrives.

Remember the thought that Zimmer only lived big CBs? Terrance Newman was fine at 5'10" and was a Zimmer guy. He seemed to play and look bigger though. There are tons of very good CBs over the years that were shorter than 5'10". Scheme may have helped some of them but I'm not sure I'm eliminating Hughes as an outside option because as it's been mentioned she is coming off a major knee injury and didn't even play his rookie year. I'm totally in on the Hill, Hughes, Boyd possible combo. I think Waynes is going to get a nice payday somewhere and will deserve a chunk of it. No idea what Alexander will cost. He might be worth bringing back at the right price. It would be nice if either Fields or Meadors who have been on the PS basically all year could take a step up and be depth next year. I just saw that they added tony brooks james a RB to the PS. Sounds like he has a lot of speed anyone have a take on him?
