Yeah it's interesting. It's also fun to know about small companies that start and make their products locally. I know one guy that has a product he created here his company's name is just his last name backwards. Lol There is a guy with a bike shop in Lincoln that builds recumbent bikes/frames and ships them all over the world. Super good dude. I need to get out in my community more.

Cook and Kamara both getting paid. Cooks deal seems fairly reasonable. I get that some people don't want to pay him or a RB but the money he got seems pretty reasonable. Props to the Vikings for keeping the number low and props to Cook for not holding out for more money which he may have been able to get. Kamara didn't get a ton more though so...

I'm honestly a bit shocked they got a deal done. Spielman is setting himself up for some big ball cuts next year. I haven't looked at the dead money, but I'm talking guys like Harrison, Thielen, Barr, etc. Harris is as good as gone now and I'm not even sure how we bring back Ngakoue now.

If the cap shrinks next year? Cook got a good deal for him. I think it was smart for him to take it rather then risk getting injured again and losing out on tens of millions.

Cook is a very good back, I wouldn't have given him that much though. More like 8-10 range money. Teams that pay RB's big don't win SB's. It's not a position that makes that big a difference.

So good for Cook, little bad for the Vikings in my opinion.

No way they can walk away from Harrison...I mean they gotta have a starting safety. Lol on the other hand...he has no dead money maybe they add another year or 2 to his deal and cut his number down. They can save over 12 million cutting Reiff and almost 4 million letting Stephen go. The other guys you mentioned have quite a bit of dead money. I guess they could push some Cousins money if they have too. It will be interesting to see what the 2021 cap looks like. If the cap doesn't drop as much they could be ok. If they can play a full season and take in the TV money that's the big thing. If not...Heck they may not even be able to afford to keep Odenigbo.

Were lucky. We should be down by 2 scores at this point.

Rookie DB's getting torched. I guess we should have expected it. I was thinking 9-7 for the Vikes this season with the Pack at 11-5.

Always fun hearing all the training camp hype on guys like the young corners just to have them get absolutely torched in game 1. Turns out defending Thielen and nobody is not a good test.
