Good reads.
Good take on what needs to improve.

Good read on offensive line. I am fine with Oli Udoh as RT. I don't think we can just hope Bradbury gets stronger. I also fo think Dru Samia is a LG.

2020 Cap
https://overthecap.com/salary-cap/minnesota-vikings/
Free Agents
https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/minnesota-vikings/
I would release or restructure. Current Amt/Released Amt/Restructured Amt
Everson Giffin (13M/1M/6M)
Riley Rieff (13M/4M/8M)
Linval Joseph (13M/2M/5M)
Xavier Rhodes (13M/5M/7M)
Cap Space Cleared
Restructure 27M (15M Cap Space)
Cut 40M (28M Cap Space)
Try and Trade for following (what I would want back in picks)
Josh Kline (5th)
Stephon Diggs (1st & 3rd/4th)
Anthony Barr (4th)
Dalvin Cook (1st & 3r/4th)
Good take on what needs to improve.

Josh Rosen? It would depend on the price. I was surprised to see that. "Rosen is also younger than the presumptive No. 1 overall pick Joe Burrow."

I remember Rosen being more of a pocket passer not really that mobile. Doesn't seem like a very good fit but I like the idea of taking a shot at a guy. At this point though what is the real difference between Rosen and say Jake Browning or some other flawed prospect? Idk I think Rosen needs to be in the right situation to succeed. I'm not sure this is the right place.

Not Rosen, Mariota you idiot Spielman!!! Mariota is the type of backup we need, someone who could step in as well if the Vikes move on from Cousins NEXT offseason. Mariota is still only 26 himself and wasn't that bad of a QB overall in TN.

Mariota just doesn't have it. Look how that team played when they benched him and put in Tannehill. Tannehill didn't even have to do much either to unlock that team and have them become a conference finalist. Literally he made a couple throws a game and that's all they needed. That was very telling to me about Mariota.

As a backup though, no doubt he isn't a good starter or even avg starter right now, but he can fill in and just maybe he figures it out. Look at his stats too, he wasn't even that bad over his time there.
Any guy you are looking at for backup will have flaws. Out of the backup QB's, I like him the best.

Re: Vikings Offseason 2020
I looked up Josh Rosens stats, he is the worst QB in the NFL, 5.2 yards per attempt bad. You'd be better off with anyone else. Put a WR at QB. Mariota has an OK 7.5 YPA. His stats are right around avg.

But again his team got better when he sat and the whole point of a backup is to hold the ship steady when the starter goes down. If Tannehill came in and lit it up then I could buy getting Mariota because Tannehill really would have carried that team, but Tannehill did so little to get that team to a highly competitive level that it really was damning for Marcus and what he couldn't do for them. I don't see the point getting a backup we know can't keep the team competitive if Kirk goes down. I would pass on both guys. They just aren't good enough.

Teddy, Case, Taysom Hill, Kyle Allen or any draft pick. I would take any of those options over Mariota or Rosen.
