Gomez and Delmon Young

Does anyone daydream where the Twins would be if Gomez and Young had developed like everyone had hoped? That might open up a trade of Hicks or Arcia for pitching help.

Also, does anyone worry that some of our young prospects could fizzle out like Delmon? Seems like Buxton and Sano are cant miss prospects, but its hard not to let some pessimism in.

I hated the Delmon trade when it first went down. Garza and Bartlett for Young and Brendan Harris? Are you f**king kidding me?! That one always pissed me off and still does to this day.

Just think how much better our chances would have been in the playoffs with Santana, Liriano and Garza as our three-headed dog in the playoffs. Scott Baker as the No. 4 guy? Ugh. What SHOULD have been.

I think the Garza trade was the point I started watching the Twins a lil less closely tbh. I was thinking about it just the other day and I used to get half season tickets and watch any game I could, but some of the moves they were/weren't making just kept driving me nuts. But no doubt I will always love the Twins and always be pulling for em.
