Rosario suspended

For 50 games for testing positive for a banned substance. Big setback for our #7 prospect. He will still probably start at AAA if he plays well this winter, but will have to sit out the first 50 games.

I'm not too troubled by this, because I have a difficult time projecting him into our lineup. I'm not convinced his defense is sufficient to beat out Dozier, and he doesn't appear to have the power to be an outfielder. But I was hoping he could be used in a trade.

I actually see this as a big blow for the Twins. I always saw Rosario as the odd man out. Especially with the emergence of Dozier. I always thought he would be a big trade chip in the future.

Still is a nice trade chip. Don't see how missing 50 games in the minors is a blow to his value.
