May be something they scouted? Orlando has a lot of length, so I can see why they'd prefer to get them back peddling versus setting up their defense. But yeah, he was being very intentional with that.

I think this is something he has definitely changed this season. I was noting it again in the GS game he was often really chugging to get the ball up court. That was one thing that didn't really fit about him (the way the Wolves want to play) before and while it's also beneficial to not always manically getting the ball up the court it did seem like playing with faster pace was something often lacking from Russell in previous years.

DLO with 4 turnovers and 0-4 from 3 with less than a half played. Not good.

Dlo 5 turnovers already. He has been super lazy with the ball early today

Imagine if we had a guard that could pressure the ball like Anthony or Suggs. Would really add to our defense.
