I think it was $14.99 for Vegas Summer league that year and I purchased it and remember the name quite well. I remember that he actually had some scouts in his corner. I remember him being a large PG who's offensive game lacked. If he's developed his offense at all he could be intriguing because you can't teach size.

I'm more interested in how he looks defensively. Can he fight through and get over screens better than Mo and Zach. That is what is absolutely killing us defensively (along with a host of other things, but that's a biggie).

longstrangetrip wrote:Brown certainly isn't a game-changer...he was a poor shooter at NC State and in his brief moment in the pros. But he is something that the Wolves don't currently have...a pass-first PG whose value is in distributing the basketball. Hopefully he will create some easier baskets for Thad, Wig and Pek, because currently they are all forced to create their own shots with Mo and Zach running the point. Also, once Mo is healthy, having Brown will allow Zach to get some minutes where he belongs at SG. We won't need Brown when Rubio returns, but that still may be a couple weeks away. I think it's a good signing.

Lavine got some run last night at SG late in the game which I liked. Even saw some flashes where he was attacking and dishing. Can't wait to see him play next to Rubio a bit.

I think Hummel breaking his hand really forced Flip to sign Lorenzo.

I'm guessing Rubio won't be back til after the All-Star break. Friday, February 20th. Home vs. the Suns. Just a hunch

Here are some of Lorenzo's highlights from specific D-League games this past month. Of course he'll look better than he really is since they only show the good stuff, but nevertheless, you get a good feel for his size and strength in these videos:

Wolter is overrated on this board. Not that we will do much better, but I think people think he is better then he is.

Here the to 30 D-League call up options.
